Long description: বাগেরহাট প্রতিনিধি : সুন্দরবনের শ্যালা নদীতে ডুবে যাওয়া ফার্নেস তেলবোঝাই ট্যাংকারটি অবশেষে উদ্ধার করা হয়েছে। বৃহস্পতিবার বেলা সোয়া ১১টার দিকে ট্যাংকারটি উদ্ধার করে মূল শ্যালা নদী থেকে প্রায় ৬ কিলোমিটার দূরে বন বিভাগের চাঁদপাই রেঞ্জ অফিস সংলগ্ন জয়মনি ঘোল এলাকায় টেনে আনা হয়েছে। এতে করে নদীতে এখন তেল নিঃসরণ বন্ধ হয়েছে। ভয়াবহ বিপর্যয়ের মুখে পড়েছে সুন্দরবন। এ বিপর্যয় কাটিয়ে ওঠা খুবই দুরূহ কাজ। যত দূর খবর পাওয়া গেছে, শ্যালা নদীতে ফার্নেস অয়েলবাহী ট্যাংকারডুবির কারণে তেল ছড়িয়ে পড়ছে কিলোমিটারের পর কিলোমিটার এলাকাজুড়ে।
